Thank you for supporting Bonebag Records. We sell physical music releases and merchandise, including vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, apparel, accessories and other label-related goods.
This policy explains how returns, refunds and exchanges work. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country.
1. Change-of-mind returns for EU/EEA and UK customers
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have the right to cancel your online order within 14 days without giving a reason.
The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you, or someone you nominate, receives the goods.

After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you must send the goods back within 14 days.
2. Items that cannot be returned once opened
For hygiene, copyright and product-protection reasons, the following items can only be returned if they are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied:

Sealed vinyl records, CDs, cassettes, DVDs or other sealed audio/video items once the seal or shrink-wrap has been opened or removed.

Digital downloads or digital content once access, download or streaming has started, where you agreed to immediate access and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal.

Custom, personalised, made-to-order or limited customised items, unless faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Worn, washed or used merchandise, unless faulty.
Sealed physical music items may be returned under the change-of-mind rules only if they are unopened, unused and in resaleable condition.
3. Condition of returned items
Returned items must be sent back in the same condition in which you received them.
Please return items with all original packaging, inserts, download cards, hype stickers, tags and accessories where applicable.
We may reduce the refund if the item has lost value because it has been handled more than necessary to inspect it.
4. Return shipping costs
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the law in your country says otherwise.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service and packaging records, CDs, cassettes and merch securely. We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
If the item is faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrect, we will reimburse reasonable return shipping costs where required by law.
5. Refunds
Once we receive your return, or you provide evidence that you have sent it back, we will process your refund within 14 days.
Refunds will be made to the original payment method unless we agree otherwise.
For valid cancellations, we will refund the item price and the standard outbound delivery cost. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, such as express shipping, we may refund only the cost of our standard delivery option where permitted by law.
Import duties, customs fees, local taxes, brokerage fees and similar charges are generally not collected by us and are not refundable by us. Please contact your local customs authority if you believe you are entitled to a refund of those charges.
6. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If the item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will offer a suitable remedy, which may include a replacement, repair, refund or store credit, depending on the item, stock availability and your legal rights.
Damage to outer mailers or packaging alone does not always mean the product itself is damaged, but please contact us if you are unsure.
7. Vinyl-specific notes
Vinyl records are delicate products. Minor cosmetic variations, light sleeve corner dings, colour variation in vinyl pressings, slight surface noise, or small differences between mockups and final manufactured products are not usually considered faults unless the item is materially defective or not as described.
If a record is warped, skips repeatedly, is badly pressed, or has another serious playback defect, please contact us with details and photos or video where possible.
8. Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to availability.
For limited edition records, tapes, CDs or merch, replacements may not always be possible. If an exchange is not available, we may offer a refund or another remedy in line with your legal rights.
9. Sale items and pre-orders
Sale items are covered by the same statutory rights as full-price items.
Pre-orders may usually be cancelled before dispatch unless the item is custom-made, personalised or otherwise excluded by law. After dispatch, the normal returns rules apply.
Release dates, pressing schedules and manufacturing timelines can change. If a pre-order is significantly delayed, we will update customers where possible.
10. International customers outside the EU/EEA and UK
Customers outside the EU/EEA and UK may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unopened, unused and in resaleable condition, unless a longer period is required by local law.
You are responsible for return shipping costs, customs paperwork and any import/export charges connected with the return, unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
Nothing in this policy removes any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country.
